APPLICATION AND ENROLLMENT OF CANDIDATES FOR I, II AND III ACADEMIC STUDY CYCLES AT THE "ECONOMY ACADEMY" UNIVERSITY, BRCKO DISTRICT BIH

I CYCLE OF ACADEMIC STUDIES

Anyone who has completed a four-year secondary education can enroll in the first year of undergraduate academic studies. A candidate applying for the first year of undergraduate studies applies to the chosen faculty and takes a test to verify their knowledge, i.e., their aptitude and skills.

Pre-enrollment tests are conducted by solving the tests published on the university's website at the premises of the "Economy Academy" University in Brčko District BiH. The tests can also be taken electronically via the website www.privrednaakademija.edu.ba.

The ranking of candidates for enrollment in the first year of study is determined based on the following criteria: general success in secondary school for the duration of four years, success in the entrance exam, and the result of the knowledge verification test, i.e., aptitude and skills. The ranking list is created based on the total score of each candidate according to established standards. A candidate can achieve a maximum of 100 points.

General success in secondary school is defined as the sum of the average grades in all subjects for the first, second, third, and fourth years, multiplied by 2 (two). Based on this, the candidate can achieve a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 40 points. In the knowledge verification test, i.e., aptitude and skills, the candidate can achieve up to 60 points.

The faculty determines the preliminary ranking list of all candidates with the total score achieved according to all criteria established in these regulations.

A candidate who believes that the ranking of candidates on the preliminary list was not determined in the manner provided by the regulations may file a complaint with the Teaching and Research Council of the faculty where they applied for admission within three days of the publication date of the preliminary ranking list. The Faculty Council decides on the complaint within 24 hours of receipt. After deciding on the received complaints, the faculty determines and publishes the final ranking list of all candidates with the total score achieved according to all criteria established in these regulations.
