Based on Article 129 of the Law on Higher Education of Brčko District of BiH (“Official Gazette of Brčko District of BiH”, number 30/09, 29/18, 16/20 and 44/22), Articles 22 and 69 of the University Statute number 10-01-1/23 dated 16.10.2023, the Higher Education Institution Economic Academy Brčko District of BiH, announces:
PUBLIC COMPETITION
for the selection of academic staff
In accordance with Article 129 of the Law on Higher Education of Brčko District of BiH (“Official Gazette of Brčko District of BiH”, number 30/09, 29/18, 16/20 and 44/22), Articles 22 and 69 of the University Statute number 10-01-1/23 dated 16.10.2023, the University Economic Academy, due to expressed needs for academic staff in the scientific fields/areas: mathematics, computer and information sciences, physical sciences, chemical sciences, earth and environmental sciences, biological sciences, civil engineering, electrical engineering electronics information engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, engineering and technology, agriculture forestry fisheries, psychology, pedagogical sciences, sociology, economy and business, law (copyright and industrial property law, civil law, Roman law and history of state and law, criminal law and criminal procedure law, labor and social law, theory of state and law, administrative law and constitutional law), languages and literature, philosophy ethics religion and art.
Candidates applying for appointment to the academic ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor, as well as those applying for the positions of Assistant, Senior Assistant, and Lector, must meet the requirements set forth in Article 121 of the Law on Higher Education of the Brčko District of BiH; upon application, they are required to submit documentation as proof of meeting these requirements.
Upon receipt of applications and the accompanying documentation, the Selection Committee shall—depending on requirements and the fulfillment of criteria—carry out the selection for academic ranks within specific scientific sub-fields, falling under the aforementioned scientific fields/areas.
Applications for the call should be sent or delivered in person to the following address: Univerzitet Privredna akademija Brčko distrikt BiH, Petra Kočića Street No. 6, 76100 Brčko, with the notation “Za javni konkurs” (For the public call).
The call for applications remains open for 15 days from the date of its publication in daily newspapers and on the university’s website. Incomplete, illegible, or late applications will not be considered. Application documents will not be returned.
