Public call for the selection of teachers at the “Privredna akademija” University, Brčko District of BiH

FOR PROFESSORS AND ASSISTANTS AND THEIR ENGAGEMENT IN TEACHING
UNIVERSITY “PRIVREDNA AKADEMIJA” BRČKO (IN FOUNDATION)

In accordance with Article 81 of the Statute of the “Privredna akademija” University of Brčko District of BiH, and pursuant to the Law on Higher Education of Brčko District of BiH, the Law on Higher Education of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Labor Law of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Senate of the “Privredna akademija” University of Brčko District of BiH, at its first session, adopts the decision to announce a public call for teachers, professional associates, and assistants to work at this institution. Teachers, teaching associates, and assistants will be engaged according to the applicable legal regulations in Brčko District of BiH (establishment of employment, supplementary work, contract for temporary and occasional jobs, etc.).

The competition for the selection of teachers and teaching associates is open for every subject attached to this public call, and the commission that will perform the selection of teaching staff is obliged to conduct an oral interview before engagement, and to make a selection of the registered candidates with whom the Rector of the University will conclude a contract after selection in accordance with the Labor Law of Brčko District of BiH.
The public call is open from 15.12.2020 until the vacant positions are filled, at most two months from the opening of the call. All persons who meet the conditions in accordance with the Law on Higher Education of Brčko District of BiH and the Framework Law on Higher Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina can participate in the public call. Every interested candidate is obliged to submit certified copies of the following documents in person or by mail:

1. Biography (must include an e-mail address and a contact phone number);
2. Bibliography;
3. Diplomas of completed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cycle of studies;
4. Election to the title (assistant, senior assistant, docent, associate professor, full professor);
5. Statement of intent for engagement in teaching;
6. Persons who have not been elected to a title and meet the conditions for election shall submit an Application for election to the appropriate title with all attachments, which the commission of this University will review and, if necessary, perform the election to the first title (assistant or docent) for which the person meets the conditions.

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED TO THE UNIVERSITY WILL NOT BE RETURNED, so we ask that you submit everything in the form of a certified copy.
Information will not be given by phone; interested persons will find all conditions in the Law on Higher Education of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of Brčko District of BiH, no: 30/09 and 29/18).
